Milwaukee COPS Basic Defensive Pistol, Saturday, June 27th

We’re excited to announce another installation of Basic Defensive Pistol, Saturday, June 27th at 7am.

BDP is our entry-level class that is geared towards beginners…but any shooter will learn from this. It is about half lecture and half shooting.

BDP is based on the Wisconsin LESB Firearms Manual. In the classroom, we will talk about deadly force, its definition, how to articulate your actions and observations, how to react to responding police and more.

The shooting portion is a mix of competitive and tactical based instruction. It will be from the holster and will incorporate movement and multiple shots. We will discuss and practice proper draw, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. Since all shooting will be from the holster, you’ll need one that is high quality, and made for your gun. Additionally, you’ll need a quality belt, and magazine carriers.

Keep October 29th - November 1st marked on your calendar, when we’ll be teaming up with Chad and 10-32 Solutions to bring you four days of training on the lake!

300 rounds minimum.
Cost is $175, RCLRC members call for 25% off.
