Milt Sparks holsters

So I finally jumped the gun and ordered a VMII for my M&P9. It took me 100+ tries to get through but persistence paid off! I didn’t expect it to be that hard to order, was I wrong!

My old CTAC will hold me off until the new Raven Phantom LC arrives in 2 1/2 months to ease the pain of waiting. To top it off my wife offered to pay for the holsters as my gift for our 1st anniversary

It will be worth the wait.

I prefer TT Gunleather or TT designed Occidental Leather’s IWB over the VMII that rides too high IMO. Plus Occidental will have it to you in less than 2 weeks.

I’ve got a VMII for my G19 that is terrific. It is the most comfortable IWB holster that I have tried to date. I prefer it over my CTAC, Raven, Fist #1 and CCC Looper in terms of comfort. There is just something warm and comforting about a extremely well crafted leather holster…

I also used it for USPSA when I was starting out and it worked fine there too.

By far, my most comfortable holster I own is a VMII.

Right on! I have no regrets since going to Milt Sparks for IWB carry. And congrats on your first wedding anniversary, she’s a keeper if she’s buying your Milt Sparks gear!

I use one to CCW a FEG Hi Power and it hides and carries super well. The Hi Power is 40+ oz and has a 5" tube.

I guy at the gun show pulled it out of a box under the table when I asked about Hi Power stuff. $50.

I’ve had VM2’s for Sigs, USP, P7m8/M13, 1911 and except for my Del Fatti, it’s my favorite holster. Since the DelFatti’s are basically impossible to get, the MS has become my standard. They allow my midgetness (5’6", 30 inch waist, 150lbs) to conceal big guns with ease and comfort.

7 years ago, I waited 6 months for a 200AW for my mountain gun. It was well worth it. You can’t seem to go wrong with any of their stuff. I also can’t belive what they want for them on Ebay.

Milt Sparks makes great stuff. I especially appreciate that they deliver when they say they will. Moreover, Sparks does not charge the card until the order is ready to ship.

Indeed, their demand is what has spawned several other holster makers going to the next level in terms of business, quality and price.

I finally got a VM-II ordered the first of last month. Only took me three or four calls to get through. They were done taking orders by the third day.

Finally. Great news!

Now lets just hope our country allows us to legally carry firearms on our hip again…

Early Sparks adopter here, been running either an Executive or an SS2 since 1997, can’t go wrong w/ Tony’s product.

Totally agree.

Been buying Milt Sparks for thirty plus years. GREAT stuff…worth the wait and the asking price. Still have my first purchase … a 1911 IWB Summer Special.

Back 20 years ago one could stop at the Shop and if you were LEO and not too demanding…he would produce what you needed in literally a day or so. Maybe it was my being an out of Stater but it worked for me twice.

Still have both of those holsters too.

I SO agree with the poster who stated “how warm and comforting an extremely well crafted holster” can be. I feel the same about El Paso Saddlery, Sparks and Kramer leather. And I have a mess of all three of them

Kramer is top notch. I’ve had a couple of belt scabbards over the years. I want to agree about EPS but I’m only going on reputation and looks. Never owned one. I am looking at a couple of models for my G19.

Congrats on the purchase, Milt Sparks are great holsters. Andrews Custom Leather also does good work.

I have two for my 1911, a VMII and a summer special. Both phenominal holsters. The other day I called them and after about a hundred tries  I goth thru. I ordered up a VMII for both my duty G22 and my off duty G23. They should be here in about six to seven months, sucks but worth the wait.

I’ve wanted a summer special for a long time. Some day.

I’m a big fan of the summer special for the 1911. I don’t know why, perhapse its that balance of the pistol or the length of the barrel but it is extremely comfortable. The weight doesn’t bother me too much either.
