This does seem a bit odd though, military operations in US cities? I mean doesn’t the military have training areas they can perform CQB stuff?
Well if they are planning something no one has told me or my friend who is a E8 in the Army.

Probably nothing, but I find it interesting in the past months they have started training all over the US during the day/night in compounts, parking garages, and schools. And these are SF guys.
JSOC and other SOF have been doing this for years. It’s nothing new.

Yes yes, in the US. But they are not randomly done in the middle of cities across the US without forwarning the residents of the city while training in schools, parking garages, and compounds.
I mean they are doing this without letting the citizens know. It just happens and the residents think its real, something just seems odd here.

If it means anything, we had an exercise scheduled for this week that was just postponed indefinitely. With budget concerns, we have no money.
If say someone was planning on a massive disarming of the population they would need a lot of men. That would probably include state and local leo’s and soldiers I would imagine. But then again I don’t think like that. Not much into tinfoil.

So far in this thread and the last two, no one has mentioned Alex Jones yet his name and aluminum foil always manage to come up so as to somehow discredit concerns. Topic dilution or just plain ignorance . . . 
If you do not find SFAUC drills over multiple major US cities alarming then by all means please take the blue pill with your daily dosage of the Peoples Temple branded Kool-Aid and go back to whatever fantasy world you currently reside in, for the rest of you YES you have some legitimate questions and concerns as to how your hard earned tax dollars are being utilized.
When I was on my department’s crowd control unit we would routinely train with other units (SWAT, K9, etc.) as well as neighboring agencies in various environments throughout our region. No surprise that a vast majority of those were conducted in urban environments. One of our SOPs for training was that we posted signs in the area informing the public that police training was in progress. Otherwise our 911 center would get flooded with calls as you can imagine when folks would see a hundred guys rocking full riot kit. People who live on and around the various military installations across this great land have grown a custom to bearing witness to all manners of military training in their areas however it is not customary to see AH-6Cs strafing blanks down major interstate highways and rehearsing heliborne/air assault operations in densely populated urban centers.
If these training drills were simply rehearsals for conflicts in foreign nations then why pray tell are domestic LEAs participating? Let me guess traffic control, lol. For the life of me I cannot think of what foreign third world shit holes the greater metro Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Houston, et al. areas are supposed to represent.
I have done a ton of training in cities, though they are usually small rural areas near an existing range.
These are completely normal and have been ongoing for years.
Any unit nearing deployment with any “Special” or even “Special-ish” mission profile will conduct a RUT (Realistic Urban Training) as part of pre deployment training/evaluation. They are not at all about combating Americans, it is simply the most realistic training in mission prep and execution possible without being in hostile territory. Yes, there are training facilities on bases all over the US, but training in an unknown, completely real environment is orders of magnitude more accurate as an evaluation setting than a relatively sterile MOUT facility or the same shoot-house that the unit has been using for the past decade. There are several US companies that facilitate these exercises, done in conjunction with local government support to keep residents safe. Naturally, these events cannot be publicized prior to the even due to force protection concerns. Think of how happy domestic douchebags would be to know where a bunch of helicopters would be hovering in a populated area without live ammunition and full of well trained American patriots?
