Does anyone know where I can find these in stock? http://leaf.arcteryx.com/Product.aspx?EN/Mens/Accessories/Military-Knee-Caps
thanks guys, but neither of those are in stock now.
I was waiting for those too, but finally gave up.
I’m very satisfied with kneepads from Ares gear instead.

Any type of outdoor-sy type store will probably carry these.
Yeah, the Black Diamonds are definitely good stuff. I’ve worn both, and think that they articulate slightly better, while I find the Arc’teryx to be slightly more comfortable.
Still beating both up, wish I could decide between the two.
I suggest you get the Arc knee pads, but with the gen 2 buckles. Not sure if they are for sale yet, but I have problems with the gen 1 buckles not staying fastened. Great knee pads, but poor buckles.
I would if only I could find them. :suicide:
The Black Diamonds work well - very light, very flexible, but I wouldn’t mind it if they had a little more padding. And my lord, what is that smell? They still retain some kind of halogenated odor that literally makes my eyes water.
As near as I can tell, the Arcteryx knee pads aren’t available. Mid-August was the soonest availability date I found any one store would quote. Something about buckles being redesigned because the old version would pop open occasionally. I believe that older version cam-lock is the same as the one on the Ares Gear knee pads. Mine can pop open if the strap gets yanked, I just use a ranger band to secure the floppy end.
