Curious if anyone has input on this. I recently installed a Midwest Industries Midlength Free Float Rail on my weapon and found it to fit the barrel nut VERY loosely after final torque.

What did you torque it with ???
I use a wrap wrench once it’s on hand tight, very hand tight and then use the wrap wrench to tighten to the point so I can’t even begin to untighten it by hand.
Call Midwest if that doesn’t work and ask them if they Mil Spec’d the tighting nut/ring.
I’ve not any problems with Midwest or LaRue with the installation.
