Plans for a 34mm? If so, timing?
These do look nice and your stuff has always been solid in my experience.
There are low mounts in the works for both Aimpoints and the Trijicon RMR.
We have a lot of cool things still to come.

Will the RMR base (MI-QDRMR-1/3) also work for the Insight MRDS?
Sorry it will not .The RMR base is profiled to the lines of the RMR.
We can add it to the list of things to look at.

Whats the weight on the 30mm mount?
The standard 30mm QD mount is 8.3oz. We always take weight out where we can with major attention given to not giving up strength. Strength is a major concern when these rifles are being used like they were designed not sitting in a safe. Getting crazy light on a mount holding your sighting system can be a bad thing if not done correctly.

I just got my mount. I am extremely pleased with the workmanship, function, and form. Literally the only thing I am unsure of is its return to zero, and only because I have not tested it, nor have I seen a 3rd party test. It locks on solid, using the sides AND TOP of the rail as index points, per NATO’s best-practice advice. The lever functions smoothly. The machining is very good.
New rail/handguard? The lock-up system on this one appears to be different, in that the barrel nut isn’t visible and the rail doesn’t have indexing tabs. Can you speak more to this?

Observation. The rotation tabs appear to be at the bottom of the barrel nut.
Received my mini-ACOG mount. Really like how the lever and lock functions, and the 12 sided adjustment nut is perfect. I was able to find just the right amount of tension.
