Micro Best BCG??

I am new to the whole AR scene and recently purchased a S&W MP15A. I was starting to get confused about who actually made my bcg so I contacted S&W and they told me it was a Micro Best bcg. Does that mean anything to anyone? Is this a good bolt or should I look to upgrade it soon?

Does it have any markings? Such as MP or MPI? Maybe a forge marking?

Post those up and we can help you from there.

Micro Best is a very good BCG. LMT purchases from them when they need too. They are MPI’d, shot peened and pressure tested. No need to upgrade it they are GTG.

In this post I posted some pictures of a bolt that was manufactured by Micro Best.It was in a S&W 14.5" SBR that I tested.

Thanks guys.

Microbest carriers are identified by an asterisk on the left side where the C or Diemaco mark is on Colt carriers.

MB is a high quality BCG manufacturer that fills orders to .Mil contract holders.

So no need to upgrade it.

At last we finally learn who S&W switched to!
