The hypocrisy is rampant, and many in the ‘woke’ community are blind to it. I support equality for certain things, like equal pay for equal work, no matter the gender or race. If you can do the work, you should get paid for it. But I was in a conversation where people were discussing the lower ratio of women to men CEOs, top level executives, engineers etc and every one was nodding that ‘things have to change’. I chimed in with ‘I totally agree that there should be a more equal ratio of women and men in the workplace. We also need to increase the number of female construction workers, car mechanics, gardeners, welders, riggers etc and all those other jobs that are also currently male dominated. Why is it we aren’t encouraging more girls to pick those careers?’.
