Went out yesterday to test the project. Overall, very satisfied. No system failures or issues of any kind. The gun cycled smoothly. The trigger is very harsh…gritty and heavy. I broke in the barrel cleaning the bore after each shot for ten rounds, then after each 5 round set 3 times. I went for 75 yd zero using 3 different rounds. Fed.Vshok 55gr, Win PowerPoint 64gr, and my Hornady FMJBT 55gr handloads w/ 25.8gr H335. Time was 5:30 PM, overcast, humid, 70-75 temp and no wind shooting off a benchrest. For a first time fire I’m ok with the groupings, I know as the weapon “settles in” and with heavier/longer bullet heads to go with the 1/8 barrel, the groups will tighten. I’m glad I waited/saved for the components I wanted, this rifle can only get “better”.
