for a guy on a budget an armalite lower with armalite upper/noveske bbl would suffice?
i noticed the mega lower is over 2x cost the armalite
It all depends what your individual goals are. When I set out to build an AR I wanted to do just taht, build one. There’s nothing wrong with buying one if it suits your needs. I wanted a Mono and liked the Mega.
Mega Arms is just a fantastic company that seems to be high on the quality side. I enjoy the the fact they are only few miles down the road from me.
When I finished mine I think I had just UNDER $2k. However, this was about a year ago and I caught the MA TEN set on sale for $500 instead of the regular $600 and I used a light rail instead of the mono upper. 2k was also before the dimpling which was $250.
…not sure where you’re shopping, but the MaTen is only $46 more expensive than armalite
