Medium plates for a plate carrier

I’ve read the forum on proper usage, how to wear plates and the explanation on the different levels of protection.

I’ve been able to get away with using some large plates borrowed from a buddy (when needed) in my banshee carrier but recently picked up a grey ghost gear plate carrier and I am having a hard time finding actual medium sized plates to use in it.

I used the search button and did not find any helpful posts on brands of plates or even where to purchase any. I’m in the market for a set and am just looking for actual user feedback and some brands you guys use.

Here’s my question for you guys:
For those of you who use plate carriers, where have you purchased your plates and how have they held up for you?

who makes the plates from bulletproofme and are they reputable?

they seem to have the largest selection of sizing and options and their prices aren’t outrageous, but that also gives me pause.

Endur, thanks for those links. Looks like I need to save up quite a bit more for some plates.

trinydex, I’m not sure either but I like some of their prices.

As I understand it, their premium plates are LTC. LTC is the OEM maker for a few other brands and FWIW rates their own plates against multi-hit M855 and M193 in addition to NIJ III/IV standards.
