Looking for some medical/shooting classes/instructors in South (pref. in Alabama), Have taken shooting classes and would like to step it up a little and some medical training couldn’t hurt. I am from medical family (ERnurses,EMT,docs,vets) so am use to the “Talk”, so looking for a class a little more advanced than Red Cross 4hr CPR (for 100$ f-ing dollars I may add) do plan on taking a couple of the Cross classes but looking for the challenge/excitment I get from my AR/pistol classes. Have thought about takin an EMT class (oh god how the family would love that!!) but lookin for 1-2 day class. Thanks for help.

If you don’t want to travel for the medical classes I would probably just recommend you doing your EMT classes. Kind of expensive but you will get most of all the basic knowledge and training you would need. As for the rifle classes etc I know Redback one will be down there some but not much.

Also I contacted Dark Angel Medical, LLC for you. They do very comprehensive medical training and they said this “I personally don’t know of anywhere but if they are interested in hosting, they can get a place for us to teach and get some folks together and we’ll come to them.”

Hoover Tactical hosts a “first aid for shooters” type class every once and while, put on by Lighthorse Tactical. Lighthorse is good people, mostly Tac guys from Hoover PD and the B’ham area.

Thanks, always been a big fan of Dark Angel. But I think their too big for us (4-5 guys) to afford,who knows…I think I could come up with training area tho.

Thankyou, I looked through their site,good stuff. Hoover and Lighthorse both look like good people to deal with. It also appears that Hoover has every day booked up in September for “ladies nite”…Might have to crash some classes:D.
