My boy is allergic to nuts and I have to keep an epic pen on me so my question is does anyone carry a civilian like kit on them that fits in cargo pants legs? If so what kind or please post a link for me to look at. I need something to carry the epic pen and other small first aid equipment but keeping it small and simple.
Maybe something like one of the pocket organizers from Maxpedition?
I was going to keep the epi pen, bandaids, etc in it as well. Plus it needs to fit in my cargo pants and shorts pockets. Something made out of good material and a plus water-proof.
Willis at OSOE made some epipen and Benadryl pouches for my buddy who’s son is allergic to nuts as well. They will fit into a cargo pocket easily. His wife carries hers in her purse as well.

disclaimer I use them, I sell them and I stand behind the products because they are awesome…that being said…Check out the Blue Force Gear Trauma Kit now, Its about the size for a cargo pants pocket and can hold a ton of items very easily.
Heres some pics
Ill be doing a complete review on my blog shortly on them, Ill repost it here but for a few more pics heres a link to my blog http://leipersforkfirearms.blogspot.com/

Another idea would be this:

I use one as an organizer pouch on my A bag at work. Small, but has about the size you might need. Should fit nicely into a cargo pocket or on a belt as well.
The pouch seems small enough to fit into a pocket and I love the price.
Thanks for posting; that might work. Is it pretty tough material?
tough enough…
Thanks for posting; do you have a link to this pouch sir?
Both the MIOX pouch and the mesh pocket work. The MIOX is what we used.
I use an older version of an Outdoor Research Zip Pouch for the IFAK I keep in my car. Easily fits in a cargo pocket and looks pretty civilian. I have most things in it in a zip lock bag for water resistance.

Comes close to what I am using

What’s IFAK?
Individual First Aid Kit
So here’s a photo of it.

I keep it in my car at all times and when I’m hunting, biking, fishing, hiking I just pull it out and toss it in the pack that I’m using that day and put it back in my trunk when I get back to the car.
It contains 3 triangle bandages, 1 Israeli bandage, 2 ABDs, assortment of 2x2 and 4x4 gauze, 2 rolls of kling, 1 6", 1 2", eye patch, bandaids of assorted sizes, tape, trauma shears, nasal airway, bzk towlettes, antibiotic ointment, pepto chews, glucose tabs, pen light, pen, pad, lighter, mylar blanket, two heavy duty ziplock baggies and a tourniqutte.
Probably a little overkill for edc but the bag is small enough to to fit in a pack w/o being huge and when scaled down will easily fit in a cargo pocket.

Do you know the dimensions to this pouch? I’ve looke on the site and could not find any.

Thank you
+1 on the BFG. I have run one for awhile and loved it, really great to have everything available right away without stripping the whole pouch, I actually found it a little large though.
