Mayflower is GTG
I own several pieces of their kit and it is GTG. The gear is lightweight and user friendly. Overall quality and workmanship is top notch. 100% made in the U.S.A. to boot.
Good kit, but I am currently having a problem with their custom service.
I ordered their low pro carrier in November, specifically mentioned that I was home on leave and to let me know if they were unable to ship before my departure so I could change it to my APO. I did get an automated response, but no reply to my question.
About a week later I sent a message via their website asking for an update. No response at all. I am now back in Iraq and I have no idea what the status of my order is.
I will have to ask the wife if it has arrived yet, but for some reason I doubt it. I kinda forgot about it until I saw this thread.
Just concerned about overall durability especially the stitching. All of the pockets seem to be laid out in somewhat of a logical manner. Basic use for this vest would be first to carry all of my stuff, didn’t want to get too magazine crazy and I figured 4/5 magazines would be enough and I also wanted to try and keep the weight down as much as possible without going with some sort of mirco rig. Second, would like to use it for a firearms training class, i.e. magpul, gunsite, etc.

Mayflower stuff is extremely well built and purpose designed by long-time SOF veterans.
Grey Group is the best place, as they keep almost everything Mayflower makes in stock, in every size and color. Their CS is tops. Mayflower is pretty much a one-man show.
Iraq Ninja, I will pass on your issues to the man and he’ll get you straight. He is a stellar guy. This has been on the site for a couple of weeks, as I don’t think he would miss your issues.
We have been experiencing technical difficulties with our email machine; this has lasted for approximately the last seven days. So, if you have attempted to contact us via our info@mayflower-rc.org address please try again and we will answer any questions you might have.
Thanks, Travis
ETA: For GP/civilian usage the LE or Hybrid rig is your best bet, as the UW rig has purpose-built commo pouches that you might not get any use out of instead of GP pockets. The Gen III is not compatible with his low-vis armor carrier while the Gen IV is, I think.
Anyone know if someone makes a velcro 2-3 rd shotgun pannel/patch you could attach to the front of LE/Active Shooter Vest front three pouches?
Contact Darrin at EGL, he could do that.
Their LOW PRO Carrier is 10-8. My favorite piece of kit.
Thanks I will have to send him an email!
I have been using a UW Gen 3 rig here in Afghanistan for the past month without a single problem. Awesome peice of gear.
The one peice of their gear im not impressed with is their frag pouch. The strap that you tighten to secure the grenade in the pocket doesnt stay put and loosens almost immedately after I tighten it down.

Just got word that my vest arrived on December 16th back home. Will have my wife send it over.
Thus, the issues I had were resolved before I made my original post.
