Maxpedition CS lacking

I don’t mean to cause a ruckus or bad mouth anyone. I recently purchased several maxpedition products for work use and I have to say their products are generally top notch but the customer service is not to my liking. I ordered one of their mega rolly polly pouches and the slik clip attached to the top of the pouch broke the day I received it. I e-mailed their CS people and even called and was asked to email a photo of the damaged item and then they would ship out a replacement. It’s a small item that I wasn’t very concerned about but I still wanted it replaced. Well after emailing photos I was told a replacement was shipped in late May. I waited a week or so and nothing came so I contacted them several times again both through email and over the phone and was told every time “it’s in the mail.” The last communication I received was that it was shipped in May and I should “check my mail” as if I simply ignore my mail box for weeks on end. I have no reason to lie about such a small item but it seems they think I am. Well needless to say, though I like their products, I’ll no doubt think twice before ordering more of their products. Anyone else have any issues with their CS?

It sounds like you broke the clip the day you got it, complained to MaxPedition, they sent you a new one and it got lost in the mail. Where does the bad customer service come in?

I suppose if you mean by opening the clip the way it was meant to be opened so I could remove it, then yes I broke the clip. When I contacted them they said it was in the mail. When I contacted them several times thereafter, they said they’d send another replacement. When I contacted them a week ago, I was told it was shipped back in may and I should check my mail box. I guess I must have forgotten to check my mail in almost 4 weeks. Be that as it may, their product generally seem to good but they definitely didn’t help me out when I asked for an inexpensive part. What would happen if a really expensive item simply fell apart within the warranty guidelines? Would “Check your mail” satisfy you in that regards? It certainly didn’t satisfy me no matter what the part would cost.
