Mark Penrod M40A1 style 30-06 built on Winchester Model 70 push feed action.
Mark performed the following work:
Fit Krieger 1-10" SS barrel with Rem Varmint contour, 24"
True action, install new stainless follower and Rem 700 BDL mag spring, check feeding, polish feed ramp, loading port, top of tang, and inside of receiver bridge.
Surface grind and polish sear surfaces, 2.5 lb trigger
Time safety and cocking piece
Polish, draft, and inlet Williams SS one piece bottom metal
Install Badger Ordnance 20 MOA base and rings, lap rings
Fit and pillar bed McMillan GPH stock with 1.5" Wichita sling swivels, float barrel, 13.5" LOP to 1" Decelerator pad.
Rifle is finished in Birdsong’s Black T and is fitted with a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x40 LR/T scope with Mil-Dot reticle.
Rifle is unfired since receiving from Mark and doesn’t have a mark on it.
