Stranger things have happened.All I know is that our country is rapidly declining and our rivals ( Russia and China ) are smelling blood in the water.Could this fit in with some sort of plan to deal us a decisive blow? Only time will tell.
That would require Iran to solve its own internal insurgency problems in addition to coming up with enough fuel to muster a successful military campaign in a sovereign nation we still have military power in.

It is that way because I say it, my talk show radio host said so. And since he has a spot on a cable channel I really don’t need to back myself up.
Many of the Iraq political leadership and their parties receive support from Iran or are connected to Iran. Iran is the local Shiite powerhouse and much of Iraq is Shiite. Many of the leadership spent lots of time exiled in Iran during Saddam’s rule.

Persians and Arabs completely and utterly despise each other, even if they may share a common Shi’ite belief. Many Americans don’t realize that Persians are ethnically different from Arabs, and given their deep rooted hatred for one and other I seriously doubt they would be in-league anytime soon.
This is to be expected when the supposed “leader” of the Top Dog (USA) would rather play golf, campaign for his fellow left-wingers, give out more “economic stimulus” funding for nothing, buy clunkers, or push for Socialized Health Reform than listen to his own Generals.
Just as in Canine packs, when the supposed alpha male is a wuss and wavers in making as important a decision as whether or not to grant his General’s request to send in more troops; it doesn’t take long for the other dogs to start challenging his “authority”.
I just hope this Administration’s incompetence and misguided priorities does not contribute to the needless death of our Soldiers while he plays golf and campaigns for his cronies. JM2CW.
ADDED: Whether or not the Iraqis and Iranians would join forces; I sincerely doubt it. However, there is more than enough evidence to point out that the Iranians have been active in the effort to destabilize things in Iraq.
