FWIW…I disagree with my DH.
Hysterical though to see him reference our DD.
Tevas…they rock. The only flip flops worth wearing are Spenco’s.
Ingrown nails…cut a small shallow V in the white of nail. It will grow to close the V, and pull out the ingrown.
Smelly storefronts: find a place that has great ventilation or only does 'cures or a manicurist at a salon (price will be lower, too). That smell is from the solvents for fake nails. It’s toxic.
Infected water & tools: watch them clean & sterilize the basin. Many places have plastic-wrapped tools, like hospitals (the sterilizer for tools is in the dispensary). Some basins are portable, some are not. One place I go lines the basin with a garbage bag, which gets replaced with every pedi.
pedicures…LOTS of men get them. For obvious reason: women like healthy men. Your feet say a lot about you, how you take care of yourself and how you might take care of her.
So who gets them? Younger/single men who understand what women look for. Middle aged men who want some TLC. Older men who can’t/don’t want to reach their feet. Diabetics especially, who need to take care of their feet. Your feet are the furthest from your heart and speak volumes about your health. “Grizzled” only appeals to other men, an maybe bears. Is that what who want to impress? Plus you’ll save wear and tear on your bedding, socks, and shoes.
A pedi is going to involve tools and products you don’t have and if you did own them, people would demand for your man card.
Go get one every other month, minimum. Should be less than $20.
