I have bad feet (ingrown toenails) so I’ve been thinking about going with my girlfriend. I doubt they can do much to help though.

This thread ties in PERFECTLY to a thread I posted in a couple weeks back, about men,um…males…wearing flip-flop/sandals.
One reason its so fucking disgusting to me is the total lack of fuckin hygiene MOST of these assbags have with their feet. Fuckin toenails like claws, yellowed nails, funk between their toes, ect. Just gross shit, period.
Many years ago, I too, poo-pooed the idea of “man-icures”, waxing, ect. All that metro-sexual shit, I thought.
But, growing older, and hairy-er…Ive changed. And, like it or not, womens’ likes have too. As a twice divorced man, and current “playa”, Im telling you all right now, Ive had numerous talks with women and they absolutely positively LOVE a well groomed man,PERIOD. Hands, feet, back, hair, no fuckin ear/nose hairs like an ape, eyebrows, and my personal priority…BREATH. So, to the OP I say ROCK ON BRO. Do what you like, or more importantly, what your lady likes. Let the boys run around in fuckin flip flops, spraying AXE all over them, and do whatever you like to keep yourself as a Gentleman should.
The foot bath rigs have been known to produce nasty foot and leg infections, I would not be buying the line that this is a way to foot health. And to be perfectly honest the whole thing sounds faggish.
Faggy Tom. The word is faggy. Are we still allowed to say fag, faggish, faggy?
My daughter has rubbed off on me, she uses ish on the end of words. I’ll have to knock it off. And yes I have allowed myself to say fag. I refuse to say gay, why? because they want me to.
My brother was gay. He and his gay friends all called each other fags. I called them fags. They called me a red neck. No one got their feelings hurt because we were all grown up and more or less mature.
Better lock this this thread down.
JK. I have a SIL and her SO such who are gay, and they are way more fun to hang out with than almost anyone I know.
This. Like those nail salon people really throw out the water after each customer.
You can buy your own tools for half of what these places charge.
As noted I don’t see how people go in there. You can clean your feet yourself. A foot massage isn’t worth 30 bucks.
All anyone needs to do is fill a bath tub with a few inches of hot water, pour in some epsom salts, and soak the feet while sitting on the shitter.
My best friend who I lived with for 2 years is a total homo, and he’s great to chill with, and got me into listening to David Bowie.
Plus, I could always ask him if I looked presentable, and know he wasn’t lying.
Also… he did pedicures all the time. Tried to get me to go with him all the time.
Thumbs up for that. I call them fags too. So what? Why someone would get wrapped around the axle about that is beyond me. A few weeks ago, a black lady at a Chinese restaurant called me a cracker.
I went home and cried.
I had my first manicure / pedicure the other week. I can now cross it off my list. Why did I have it done? It was my angle baby’s first home coming. Mom was gone for most of the weekend and unfortunately wouldn’t return home until just before the event started. So I was left to take her to get all of the necessary things done (last minute purchases, hair, nails, etc…). On top of it her shit stain of her boyfriend dumped her the week before. So it was all about keeping her spirits up. She begged me to get my nails done with her. How could I tell her no?
Well, to be fair, I don’t think cracker was ever a reference to burning them alive because they weren’t worth anything else.
Can’t believe there has been all of this “fag” talk and no one has referenced this:

Fag and gay mean different things. I think Louie here explains that pretty well. There is a great episode of South Park that covers the same thing. If you don’t have time to watch the episode, the wikipedia article provides a good summary.

I don’t cry. I sincerely thank them for the compliment. Then again, I’m a Cracker, not a cracker. I got’s the birth certificate to prove it.
I was at the range yesterday and today. Both days youngsters showed up in flip flops. We are at the peak of sandspur season and the rocks in the parking lot know no season. And these young fellers wear their oh so cool flip flops. I wear steel toe boots, electrical hazard boots, MAN boots. Don’t need no pedicure when you wear MAN boots.
This thread brings up a couple of points.
Hygiene, obviously this is el numero uno. Ask any old ground pounder of the importance of keeping your feet healthy; trench foot, jungle rot, etc. I learned quite a bit on the matter from reading Get Selected for Special Forces.
The other is every day wear. I own several pairs of Tevas but I only where them when I’m on the river, lake, pool side, or at the beach. I grew up in rural TX and men just don’t wear flip flops or Birkenstocks. Hell I’m the only adult male in my family that wears shorts in the heat of a TX summer.
For some it is effeminate but for me it’s more that I want to be able to exit an area rapidly if needed without tripping over a damn flip flop and or injuring my feet via cuts and burns from the concrete jungle.
Don’t need no pedicure when you wear MAN boots.
DAMN RIGHT, Suwanee Tim. Fuckin flip flops…ssheesh.
It’s impossible to get foot odor wearing sandals, and NOTHING goes better with cargo shorts. ![]()
Makes you all low-key while going around with a CCW too.
I’ve always worn whatever is the most comfortable according to climate.

Never to the range though, them brass are hot!
Though I’m a transplant, I too have taken the same route. The look of utter confusion on the face of the racists have been priceless. My son though can prove direct lineage through his momma (7th generation native) and now that she has the genealogical records is submitting them for certification.
My daily uniform for 9 to 10 months out of the year is a t-shirt, jeans shorts, and sandals. These are the benefits of being self employed and living in Florida. Having said that, what sort of numb nut goes to the range, or any outdoor activity, in open toed shoes?
