I have a KAC SR15 with a triple tap right now without a suppressor.
I may suppress in the future, have not decided. I only suppress my SCAR 17 right now.
Is a Mams brake that much better than the triple tap to warrant an upgrade. I know flash suppression is significantly better, but how about recoil?
Anyone out there gotten rid of their triple tap for a Mams?
Between the two on a 5.56 gun, I cannot tell. They both shoot like rimfires. The suppressor for the 3t is available, the MAMS suppressors are vaporware. If suppressing is in your future Id take that into consideration.

TTT on 14.5 upper has less felt recoil than a 14.5 upper with the MAMS. On the 16 inch rifle not a lot of difference between the two.
That is contrary to my experience.
Both are bad ass, given the choice I would go with the MAMS!!!
This is how I go about KAC purchases, I BUY EVERYTHING. First I buy the stuff that I think is going to be discontinued or rare. Right now I’m buying up nt4s, I know I still have a lot of time to buy the QDC stuff so I’ll get to it eventually. When you have stacks of KAC shit knee deep in the safe, NEVER SELL! You will regret this immensely. I have 3 tt and 1 mams, so I need to buy more triple taps and mams…right? Haha
Havent heard any talk about this yet, but Ill be selling a lightly used MAMS once my pre-order arrives.

Yup, I’m a KAC employee, and I have a real soft spot for the NT4.
My wife is gonna hate you guys again, Im gonna order 6 more after tax season. The NT4 is still my only 5.56 rifle can.
