Malcolm Young, rhythm guitarist for AC/DC, has passed away.

Damn sad day for rock and roll.

Oh wow. It is indeed a sad day.
They were my favorite band growing up. That was during the Bon Scott days. I still have a picture of Angus on Bon’s shoulders while playing. This was at a Day on the Green concert in Oakland in late 70’s. They were awesome.

RIP Malcolm. Thanks for the memories.

That was / is some good stuff. Trying to have a good time without some AC/DC of any vintage playing, is like trying to enjoy unsalted potato chips.

IMHO that was one of their best songs. Not that they didn’t have quite a few, but I like that one best.

Agreed. It’s my favorite of their songs.

Where else can you hear a bagpipe used in a rock band?

Big Country… but a band that’s not in the same universe as AC/DC.

RIP Mr Young

Well that just sucks.

RIP

That does suck.

NYH1.

I hope to see him in Hell when I die.

A star that shines twice as bright lives half as long.

Pouring some of my 40 oz. and wearing my AC(Lightning Bolt)DC shirt in honor

Well we all knew it was coming. If you have to go, go out after a long successful career.

RIP.

End of an era.

RIP

Dropkick Murphy’s, like in every song.

So Tom Petty now Malcolm Young, damn . . .

I’ve said it before but we are in that time when all the great rockers are getting to an age where they may jump off the planet. We just lost Tom Petty as well. They are all getting into the 70’s now.

64…not that old really. RIP.

I saw their older brother George passed away in Oct. Tough times for the family.

RIP Malcolm! One of the most underrated guitarists out there.

I particularly liked the covers Elvis did of his work. FF to around 1:15.

But it’s like 300 in rocker years

RIP Malcom, hangin out with Bon again.
