Yea, I have on my carbine.

How do I like it? I don’t really use the mag well grip, so this isn’t a really necessary piece to use. I bought one to try out, and it’s definitely more low profile than other current magwell grip models while giving decent gripping since it’s made from a rubber material. Goes on easily w/o any tools either. The extra width it adds to the mag well does help with grip once you are accustomed to it.
Unless you’re always having your support hand on the mag well, it’s really not needed.
Useless to me. You should spend your money buying ammo and work on pushing your hand out further on the handguards
Same here. Try to avoid gripping the magwell if possible as the support side fingers can prevent the dust cover from opening, causing a malfunction.
Bad habit I got into in the Army, gripping the magwell. You really can control the weapon with your support hand pushed as far out as is comfortable.
And if the rifle kabooms, it will blow out the magazine, and can damage your hand…
You’ll have better control and accuracy of shot placement in driving the gun, if you use your VFG as a hand index, pulling the weapon into your shoulder. That thing has as much functionality as the accuwedge. None.
Thanks for the info…I’ll start looking at VFGs.
The common technique of driving the gun doesn’t really even require a VFG either, unless you want to use it as a hand-stop. Check out some videos of 3-gunners doing their thing if you want a good idea of grip.
If your rifle kabooms, wouldn’t there be other body parts in danger also ?

Possible to get some cuts on your face and maybe your legs, but it doesnt cause any other real harm…the danger is from small parts and/or powder and other small debris flying out…
It depends on your shooting style. Some people are going to love them, others are going to hate them. I can’t think of any realistic way that this could cause any problems if you shoot from the magwell unless you have very small hands.
