The item that attaches directly to the MOE handguard is called an MVG (MOE Vertical Grip).
Yea what they are shipping is the RVG not the VEG. The RVG is built to mount on mil spec Picatinny rails. Looks like it comes with a set that can be used to mount it on your MOE. Hope so but I can use it elsewhere if not.

I thought i had MVG but in pasting Stickman’s awesome pic, i erased my text and quick re-typed it.
(I had the stock OEM pic )
Now if i can stop calling AFG (Angled Fore-Grip) a “Forward Angled Grip” (you get the acronym… lol) life would be better.
Either way i’m waiting on Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) illumination kit
