I have many old metal mags, some preban, black followers, some green, with some new ones. I also have some pmags. 2 questions, anyone know teh long term life of pmags. Some plastic will degrade over time. Do you think ones with the windows to count rounds are worth it? Thanks.
Welcome to the board, you may find that doing a search on PMAGs will yield a ton of info.

Pmags are great! I only wish Magpul would make them for different calibers (6.8-6.5). I use Pmags in all of my AR platforms and never had a magazine related failure. Keep in mind that magazines are disposable items. So if they last a year or two under frequent use, you are already ahead of the game.
