I’m in. I can also provide lodging for one or two more people as long as they don’t mind sleeping on the floor or bringing a cot.
Count me in as well.
I am in for a Carbine I and/or Pistol I class.
I can probably drag a friend in as well.
Get those “servants” back down to Texas - I don’t think you’ll have a problem filling a Carbine 1 or 2 class. Plus I’ll get to wear my LONGHORN camo!!!
Go Horns!
I down for going to a carbine level 1 again or carbine level 2
You will be in the heart of Aggieland. You will need to be heavily armed. ![]()
Not taking sides, merely offering a little intel. ![]()
Aggunner,
Hey brother, I don’t know if you have already done so by now, but you need to get in contact with Magpul Dynamics via the info/instructions on the MD website. Chris and Travis, as well as MD’s other outstanding trainers who are more than up to the task of training and running the hell out of their students, are literally just the instructors. They just shoot stuff and blow shit up:D
Actually they do a helluva lot more than that, but you get what I’m saying though. The admin stuff is handled by others at MD and they can answer all of your questions.
Tell you what, though… I’d certainly come out to that range for a Magpul class! I live in Houston, so that location is perfect for me. Looks like you guys have a great facility out there!
And I don’t know if you or your friend would be the ones hosting the class, but just a heads up: the more work the host puts into hosting a MD class, the better it will be for everyone. If you host an amazing class, the Magpul Dynamics instructors will want to continue coming out there to train and you won’t have any problems filling classes whatsoever. As with anything else, it’s definitely a team effort and you get out of it what you put into it.
Good luck with it all. Take care and Semper Fi,
-Paul
Thanks well said Paul,
If a host were to follow the hosting link directions and be able-with out a doubt that the prereqs can be successfully done, at that point a call is warrented to Chris to work out the finer details and seeing if we have room on the schedule.
update in first post
I’d love to see some Magpul classes in Texas. Pistol, carbine, I’d be up for either or both ![]()
I’m looking to take a Magpul class (Carbine I or II) sometime in 2010 and would love to be able to do it in Texas. I’d be able to go home on leave and visit the family and take a class. Please let us know when you get a date; hopefully it will fit in my schedule.
Being in Aggie Country doesn’t hurt either. ![]()
we’re shooting for a feb/march class
Pat Rogers is having his carbine course in march, after that i’m planning on visiting my relatives in the UK for spring break, but if you can get Chris and Travis here in Feb or Mar., I’m in.
I would be interested in a class and might know a few others as well.
damnit. Nothing really was going on in Texas while I was living there and now this. Now i live in St. Louis and there is really nothing going on here as far as serious training goes.
Sorry to say that I heard today that they do not feel like having any classes in Texas in 2010 as the schedule is full for next year. Too bad for them!
Travis,
could you please contact me when you get a chance. We have a lot of interest just in this thread and I’m sure we have the makings of one hell of a class.
25 max
So is this still a live ball? This location would be my first choice. Otherwise, I’m going to start getting on some waiting lists.
we’re trying to make it happen
