Jeff,

Sounds like something a lot of our members here might be interested in.

Any details on who is teaching it?

This is a class I would LOVE to take but can’t.

KERRY who is their main man on this subject came to our HVWM classes at San Bernardino and did only a short “Med Brief”. If that was only a taste of things to come then I would strongly recomend these classes to anyone. Kerry definitely knows his stuff, and is one heck of a nice guy.

Ya’ll enjoy… and someone please do a good AAR on the classes.

I e-mailed all who came to our HVWM class and met Kerry. Dont know if any will make it out to Colorado tho…

I definitely second that one. Would love to go, but have met my private course and ammo expenditure for the year! Eventually…

Interested in the class, definate interest if there was a DVD on the class… hint, hint.

A DVD of this class might save more lives than the carbine classes.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It’s just something we feel needs to be addressed.
IraqNinja, PM me if you have any questions or email me at: kerry@magpuldynamics.com
Yes sir, FromMyColdDeadHand, that is being looked at. Please feel free to email with any questions.
JM

This looks real interesting

Will you be hold this class anywhere in the midwest, say Indiana?

Thanks

Bob

If I was not already signed up for the Carbine 1&2 with MD this fall I would be on this class in a second. I hope that there is enough interest that youall will be offering it next year…Longmont is prefect for me. In-Laws/Sister-In-Laws are up there (free lodging and baby-sitter;).

Great to see this guys.

Could you all go into what you are looking for in the first aid kit?

Rotor Talker, just like any of the Dynamics classes, I will come to where I have a venue. If you can find a location that supports up to 20 students and has A/V hookups just let us know.

Longhunter CO, we plan on offering these classes in CO on a quarterly basis. Check out the Magpul Dynamics website for dates.
We are currently looking at a couple of out of state classes for later this year. Nothing hard and fast yet, but keep your eyes peeled.
As far as suggestions for an IFAK, there is a lot of good kit out there today and I’ve used quite a bit of it over the years. PM me and I can give you some feedback or shoot me an email and I’ll be happy to answer any questions that I can.

Y’all take care and keep yer powder dry,

JM,

No worries, just thought it would be nice to put who the instructor was, since a lot of people associate Magpul Dynamics with Chris and Travis. Some may even have thought they were teaching it :).

The fact that you are associated with Magpul Dynamics is good enough for me.

Kerry is our lead instructor and certainly loves his job!.. I think a little too much…

You should have photoshopped in some spurting blood since he stopped pressing on the wound.

Already two MD classes this year. Since it is offered near Denver and can be taken as a day class, I’ll be in next year, maybe even for a weekday class.

ya but that damn tourinquet is in the way;)!

burn!

Guess I need to take the class. Things sure have changed since I was in the Boy Scouts, at first glance I thought that was an antenna not a tourniquet.

Pipe down there Mr. 8 posts.

You know, we medics are a sick bunch!

Can’t teach you how to use a radio but I will show you how to use a tourniquet…of course you could use the antenna as a windlass…hmmmmm

This is awesome, I really need to get out or bring one of these classes locally. Kerry is a stand up instructor, and thank you guys for branching out in the range of training.

This is definitely on my todo list for 2011.

Kerry helping out with our HVWM classes at San Bernardino. He also gave a nice “teaser” medical brief to our classes.

Next class is a month away
