I didn’t see any. Almost all off the belt or from the saddle.
Class was great, as expected, and met some really nice guys and gal (yes singular).
Did you guys bring cheap 00 buck or spring for the good stuff?
htxred,
I hate to rub it in, but you missed a great class. Hopefully I see you in the next one.
Thanks to Narco for coordinating and planning the logistics. He always does a great job networking with the industry professionals to get us a great prize table. I would like to especially thank the Wongs for allowing us access to their range, the hospitality, and great food as always.
I ran federal flight control and their rifled tru-ball. Awesome stuff.
Here here. The wongs and William kicked ass.
I have a case of Win Ranger low recoil buck and slugs set aside for Sept’s Magpul training. It patterns pretty good, more than likely I’ll get a case of Fed with FC. Plenty of time.
Titeist
Will you be at the San Jose class?
Titleist,
Your ammo should be on its way. Sigfan sent it through UPS yesterday.
I used Federal LE low recoil flitecontrol for the patterning test. I switched over to most inexpensive 00 buck that I could find for the rest of the shooting.
I doubt it. I avoid CA like the plague, and I say that while writing this from Beverly Hills. Ugh.
Red, I heard from Nicholas yesterday. Thanks to both you guys. I ended up with so much unused FC buck and slugs that there was no way I could ditch it in LA.
While I enjoyed shotgun employment I do feel it needs to be a longer class then one day. Still great. Just very compressed for only a day.
Was great being back on the wongs range again… great folks and Nolatac did a great job…
go ahead and put some more dots. …
yea tony im currently trying to work out the last few details for me to be there in may. hopefully everything goes well, i should know this week and will be contacting jill.
Any pics to share? Post’em if you got’em… thanks
During the shotgun training, was there any transitioning to pistol.
Hopefully pics are posted soon. And no transitioning was done.
No this was a compressed one day manipulation program
AAR just finished, working format for online consumption now.
