I just got a Magpul CTR stock (mil-spec) and it’s pretty sweet. It came with the smaller buttpad attached, but was wondering if I should have received a cap to cover the buffer tube if I chose to take the buttpad off? There are a few pics I’ve seen with the buttpad removed and there’s a logo cap covering the buffer tube. Was I supposed to get that too?

So why do I see pics of buffer tube caps?
I think they sell them at magpul… Still waiting for my mil-spec tube so I can finish my rifle. The CTR’s sure seem cool…

My Mil-Spec CTR came with a cap, but that was back before all CTR’s came with the buttpad. I had to install my buttpad.
I have a FDE cap, if you want it and I can find it.
The newest ones I’ve seen come with the pad already installed and no cap.

I’ve had six CTRs. They came with the cap back before they had the buttpad but all that I’ve gotten with the pad don’t have the cap.
