First post to the forum but, have been lurking and absorbing for several months on the sight. Some great people here…!!
Would Magpul consider production of a 10 rnd AR mag for us lucky folk that live in a restricted state? I had the chance to try some P-mags ( 20 and 30 rounders ) in a neighbering state and liked them very much not just for capacity but,fit and function.
Also, considering the un-easy political climate a 10 rnd mag would not be a bad idea to have in there inventory ( I hated to even say that for all you folks that live in free states ) and for the time being promote to restricted states for sale.
Sorry to hear you live in a retarded state. I’d fire off an email to magpul. Though in the current state of things they have their hands full keeping up with production of 20 and 30 rd mags. Can’t hurt to ask though.
Try doing a search for Magpul PMAGS 10/30. They are 30 round pmags that a guy converts to 10 rounds by putting a block inside of it. Just another option.
DO NOT USE BULLET BUTTONS and GREATER THEN 10 ROUND MAGS in California.
if you want to have greater then 10 round mags in a off list lower rifle in California, you can not use a bullet button. you have to use a monster man type stock. No pistol grip.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. In California, it’s illegal to transfer “pre-ban” mags.
To the OP: there’s a sticky at the top of the “Rifle” forum on CalGuns.net on how to make 10-round PMAGs.
Regarding the legality of getting high capacity magazine parts shipped to California and then converting them to 10-round capacity, see CalGuns.net, too.
