I’m have looked through, and seen good results from a Lucid 2-5x magnifier on a Burris AR pivot mount. All in all about $200-$250 less than the EOTech magnifier.
I do personally use the EOTech magnifier on my rifle, and I have never regretted it.
i feel like this would be very impractical unless you’re on a square range shooting paper.
