I recently bought a PWA 5.56 Commando. I know there are mixed reviews on PWA, but this is a sweet weapon. High serial number that I’m pretty certain is from the one year or two (2001-2002?) they actually made complete weapons, pristine condition, 24" stainless free float bull barrel, picatinny rails front and back, Bipod… Only problem is none of the mags I have work in it. I have other AR platforms (like SW M&P 15) and my Magpul Pmag gen 2 or gen 3s work flawlessy in it. However put one in the PWA and it won’t feed. Every round jams before getting into the chamber. I’m certain it’s the mags, I took the gun completely down, cleaned it, inspected it and the action works perfectly without a mag. Anyone PWA owners who can recommend a mag that actually works with this gun? Thanks in advance for any help.
I have two Pwa’s and usgi mags work fine in both of them.
If all your mags work correctly in all your other AR pattern rifles, then why do you think the problem with this rifle is the mags?

I suspect you got a kit frankengun built on a stripped PWA lower.
I have 2 PWA lowers, I was not aware they made lowers that long. I thought they were out of business by 1995?
Anyway Pmags will not work at least the gen one models that I had. It was hit or miss for me out of the 22 I had only 4 fit and dropped free. Use GI mags no issues with them at all never tried anything else as there is nothing wrong with GI mags.
I had a PWA Commando that Pmags didn’t fall free, but GI mags were just fine.
