Hands down, I believe the overwhelming response you’ll receive from our members is Magpul PMAGs.
I see from your other post that you’re interested in hunting with your AR. If your state requires you to load only to 5 rounds, a standard USGI 20 round magazine blocked to 5 rounds will be a good choice, provided it has an anti-tilt follower. Check Brownells…they usually have them.
thanks for your feedback I ,ve seen some pmags at gunshow but was unsure, I wish now that I would have got them

I saw Pmags at a gunshow for $35. Don’t pay that. You can get them for as low as $11. The windowed will be a bit more. Typical price is $14 for non-windowed.
Troy also just came out with a new polymer mag. I haven’t seen any reviews on them yet.

I’ve had good luck with PMAGs, OKAY, and Center Industry mags. I probably will only be buying PMAGs in the future.
Brownells, and CProduct have been unreliable in my rifles.
Admitted “new guy” here … I recently bought some non-windowed PMAGS from www.evilblackrifleshop.comat $12 each.

I’d go with the P-mag, I use them exclusively for my duty mags and have never had a problem.
