Do the magazine couplers made to connect “GI” magazines side by side also fit/work on the PMAG?
I am not interested in doing the RediMag as I dont want the permanent extra bulk and weight.

I must insist that you reconsider the Redi-Mag if you are serious about this; mag couplers have so many negatives versus so few positives, esp. when compared to a skeletonized Redi-Mag system.
I may do so… I am a bigger guy who is used to hefting and FN FAL so the extra weight isnt so much and issue. It is the added bulk on the left side that bothers me. I mount my light on the right side so as to prevent backlighting my cover when shooting around it from the strong side. This would make for a complete system that was “triple wide”
Dunno, maybe we’ll skip it… But I do like those PMAGs, even better than the polymer ones for the Steyr AUG I used to carry.
None that I know of work with the PMAG… not even the mag grip. I run several ARs so outfitting all of them with the redi mag is too much money for me.
PMAG MAG GRIPs are now available with the following companies:
LA Police Gear - ask for Ryan or Sean
Brownells - ask for Angie

Agreed. I tried all of the different mag couplers out there and couldn’t find one that consistently worked for me. The top round on the second mag always waked forward during shooting or during patrol and bouncing around in the gun rack.
I did not want the added bulk of the redimag and put off getting one (price was high too). I finally broke down and picked up a redimod (BFG version) and have to say it works great for me. I want things as streamlined as possible and the redimod still allows me to have that. Plus having a reload with the rifle at all times is a huge plus.
Have you seen the Springer Precision “Firebird” PMag coupler? Might be what you are looking for: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=53320/pid=27286/sku/Firebird_30_30_PMGA_Coupler?review=1
I have one that I have not shot/trained with much, but as far as mag couplers go, it looks like the best made option available.
If you are interested, I have an extra one that I never opened. LMK.
