I got a tiny little bottle of this in the box along with a bolt and parts I ordered from Larue Tactical. It’s so cute, I stuck it in the handle of my rifle but never used any of it.
is this stuff any good?

It’s my lube of choice for all my long guns. Not too thin that it runs off easily, not so thick that it gums up bad. It’s a decent quality lube. I’m not hard to please though.
is it supposed to be some wonder lube? I never see it discussed in the “loob” threads…
I have been using it over here for the past 3 years with good results. So, it seems ok for hot arid environments. No idea about rust prevention though…
I like it a lot. Use it on HG’s and AR’s.

thanks for the replies, guys. interesting it never comes up in any of the “wonderlube” discussions.
if you had to rank it, would it be closer to SLIP and WeaponShield type stuff, or closer to motor oil?
This is my ranking of the most talked about lubes:
YMMV

cool. I’ll give it a try.
thanks…
Have you tied SLIP EWL? If so, where does it rank?
Acknowledging that Pat Rogers is PNG here, folks may find the following useful:
look, my purpose was not to start another “my loob is better than your loob” thread. everyone knows (or should know by now) which lubes are at the top of the heap. that said, that’s a pretty strong testimonial for SLIP.
at the risk of digging up the rotting cadaver of the bolt cleaning thread, I see that it does make a difference what product you are using in the first place if you intend to neglect your gun after a hard run.
specific experience-related commentary from qualified individuals is always welcomed. thanks for the link…
No on the EWL.
