I’ve been thinking about getting a Masterpiece Arms mac10 pistol for ccw use.
It’s nice to have a large magazine capacity. Plus the mythology behind a weapon like the MAC might cause the criminal to hesitate, thus, aiding in your escape or in putting the perp down. I’m just thinking that an attacker may react differently when they see the sihouette of something like a MAC or UZI rather than your typical handgun, considering the general public has virtually no knowledge of NFA laws, FOP1986, etc, etc, etc.
On the downside, they’d be difficult to conceal. Are there any holsters designed for MAC’s, etc?
They have terrible reputations. With a lot of reliable, compact, accurate pistols on the market, why would you choose a large, bulky, unreliable, inaccurate, unconcealable jam-o-matic for self-defense?
Gangstas know what Glocks look like. Gangstas are scared of Glocks. Glocks work well and can be effectively concealed. Get a Glock.
