I am having an issue with the light flickering on my weapon light. It does not have a strobe setting, and I have changed out batteries to try and fix the issue. I also stretched the battery springs as was suggested on another site. Any other suggestions before I contact Surefire?
Don’t waste time messing with it, send it in. Surefire will make it right.
Agreed, contact surefire. I had an m952v that was doing the same thing under recoil of the weapon. I have a few of these lights and was able to determine the head is where the problem was. I contacted surefire and they said to try stretching the springs. After describing my troubleshooting procedures they gave me an RMA, had a new one shortly thereafter.
I had a similar issue a few months ago. Didn’t even mess with stop gaps, I contacted surefire and they had it squared away within two weeks.
