I’ll post links to the targets, and post the COF for rifle and pistol, later today. In the meantime feel free to discuss and ask questions.
Again this will be 5 yards for carbine, 3 yards for pistol, and it’s an untimed drill. You’ll shoot it once, cold, for score and post those scores.
I’ll also post the link to upload scores later today.
Yes, I know, this is another close-range match. For May we will do something with some distance to it, albeit probably only 100 yards. Stay tuned!
ETA: COF for pistol and carbine (click the tabs at the bottom) along with score boxes for you to write in.
ETA2:
Links are all done, and link back and forth to each other. Link above will take you to the links to the targets and to the score input form.
PRINT THE TARGETS FULL SIZE WITH NO SCALING OF THE IMAGE
You may get an error message from your printer telling you that it is bigger than the printable area. That’s ok. The dots are all 1/2" from the edges and will print on any halfway decent printer made in the last 5 years. If you’re still on your dot-matrix from the '70s you may have problems.
:sarcastic:
The carbine course of fire looks the same to me as the pistol course of fire. Am I doing something wrong? Even clicking the carbine button at the bottom doesn’t change the COF descriptions.
Assume that instead of weak hand we’re doing support side with the rifle?
ETA: Never mind - got it now. Operator headspace error.
Oh, minimum .380 for the pistol and 5.45 with the carbine. I don’t care if you have a can, brake, baby IPSC loads with ported barrels with bored rifling, etc, you live with yourself.
Doesn’t really apply to me specifically, just wanted clarity.
Just saw this now. Maybe a mention in the GD about it would drive more people here? Looking over the COF, not everyone has access to a range that allows draws from holsters. Just a fact.
Great concept. More people will probably do it now with summer coming up.
