OMG! You didn’t re-krylon that barrel while it was apart?
As for the DPMS upper receiver block- that’s got to be the nicest thing DPMS makes. I used one that Nitrox lent me for my VLTOR upper and it worked perfectly.
I think it is slightly out of spec though- had to use a hammer to get the pins through my “true mil-spec billet upper” 
PS- Kevin- what did you have as handguards before? KAC? Wanna sell 'em?
