I have done a little research myself but I haven’t found much on these 2 going head to head, it always seems like its the M41k vs. M42k thread. I have read the websites stuff but want user advise. What are the diffrences between THESE two? They appear similar in price,size,weight, and mount style. Any advise would be great, particulary on the 416-SD as I heard its a little bit shorter. My main objective is to do a 10.5" suppressed SBR. My overall goal in this order is reliability,shortest OAL,noise suppression. I figure its going to be on a 10.5" barrel so suppression is not gonna be that big of a deal but I still want it to be quiet as possible considering the size.
They are identical aside from the roll marks. Same internals, length, weight, and mounting system. The M4-2000 will most likely be easier to find in stock.
Either one is the best balance of size, weight, sound, and durability- nice cans.
