I’m not sure if this is the thread i need to be in but it seemed like the most logical one. Anybody happen to know where I can get the current US specs for an m203.

best i could find… i can measure one if you need
Hey thanks man, I actually saw this yesterday when I was researching.
I have the -10 in .PDF format. If you’d like a copy, IM me.
Thanks for the info Quib but i was actually looking for the manufacturing specs.
just a word, the 203s that go on the 16’s are from colt but the ones we use on the m4’s are from LMT just and fyi
If anyone could point me in the direction of the manufacturing specs that would be great.
anybody know where I can possibly get an armorer’s manual for the 203?
I used a Colt M203 on my M4A3
Can you purchase frag munitions for the M203 if you have one? I was looking at getting one since it only 2k but I haven’t seen the frag munitions anywhere.
Every round would require a tax stamp and $200 tribute to the government.
You mean just for the frag munitions as you can purchase all other 40mm munitions with no tax stamp.
Explosive weight makes the 40mm “frags” Destructive Devices by themselves.
Like above I’ve got the -10 and -23&P, does anyone know how to embed the PDF to this forum site? Or i can just email
James
All of the M203s on our M4s in my entire company were made by Colt. I only saw one LMT 203 in my time in the service (but it was on an M4).
Holy crapping necro-post, sorry just saw that this thread is about 8 months old… my apologies…
I have been told only the frag rounds are NFA items, but the M203 itself is not. So is the m203 not classified as an AOW or other NFA item? Could a civilian purchase one with just the regular form 4473?
An M203 is a destructive device. Each round (HEDP or similar) is an NFA item as well. I believe that exceptions are the TPT and flare rounds.
