So Ive decided instead of spending the money and buildinga 308 AR, to just put a scope on my M1A. Shes a awesome accurate right already and I want a SASS in 308.
Who makes good scope mounts for M1A’s? I dont wanna change much as its a glass bedded stock, just want a good scope mount. Also, what scope would you recommend? Id like a Max of 20x and min of 6x.

Have a 30mm 10X on mine…heavy set up, but it’s kept zero nicely for a year now.

I use a Sadlak airborne mount on mine. Both SEI and Sadlak are of the original Brookfield design and are simular. Another choice using the same design that is popular is the ARMS #18.
My ARMS M14 mount was a piece of sheeeeeyit. Sadlak or Smith is the way to go unless you enjoy re-zeroing on a frequent basis. My first ARMS mount wouldn’t even zero, it was machined angled ever so slightly to the side and I just had to return it to the vendor and get a new one. Because good luck dealing directly with ARMS.
