M16 bolt and bolt carrier group in my Smith and Wesson

Will there be any problems that any one can predict. I know its legal to have a m16 bolt in my AR but i want a extra bolt and carrier group for any problems i may encounter when shooting, so i can just switch out quickly. And any suggestions brand of bolt and carrier and what website. Thanks Semper Fi

Bravo Co., BCM Full Auto Bolt Carrier Group. Also Grant @ G&R Tactical has Daniel Defense Full Auto Bolt Carrier Groups. Both these vendors are on the Forum.

I believe G&R has some gernic M16 carriers that are a very high quality product…

BCM, LMT, COLT, DD are all good choices.

I acquired a BCM M16 bolt and carrier and have been very happy with it. I use the BCM in my rifle and keep the stock one (non-M16) as a reserve.

I too would recommend something from Grant at G&R Tactical.

I bought a BCM M16 BCG and it has been fantabulous.

Well its not the same i know its legal to have it i simply asked if there would be any operating problems with switching it out to another companies bolt and carrier group. And if any one had any suggestions for a good product.

You wont have any problems. You can pick up a DPMS FA BCG(MP tested bolt) for $105 new.
