What makes an M16 BCG different from a standard BCG. Anyone have pictures to show the difference?

Most AR style carriers have a ramped area that leaves the firing pin to cock the hammer. A 16 carrier always has the shroud around the firing pin so the hammer cocking is done the right way.
Other than that the differences are negligible.
the extra weight is a factor, especially when you’re talking about the difference between something like a C carrier and a full m16 carrier. i hate the “because it was designed for…” argument, but the platform really was designed for the full weight of the m16 carrier, and the carrier being heavy more directly slows unlock time than a heavier buffer, lending to more reliable extraction. and trading a STANDARD (as i like to call it) carrier for a heavier buffer is an over-compensation… the weapons still out of balance.
