I’m looking for a top tier clone of the A4.What would you choose and why? Looking for an all purpose rifle.Any suggestions?

Another BCM vote here as they are the only one I know of . . . I have heard of FN uppers being used, but that has got to be rarer then teeth on a chicken.

What about Colt? I know that BCM seems to be highly regarded in the gun community. I just have not seen one first hand nor do I know anyone who has one. Has anyone here ever had a BCM weapon and put it thru its paces,if so how did it perform. No disrespect here, I’m just trying to find a good quality A4 clone and understand why you choose it,

As far as I know, colt does not make an A4 clone. The closest you could get would be an MT6601 but it comes with a heavy barrel that would need to be re-profiled, and a semi auto bolt.
Colt, FN and Sabre are the only three companies legally in possession of the M16 TDP used to manufacture M16s for the DOD and neither Colt or FN sell a semi A4 to the public so, the closest thing to the real deal, directly available, would be the Sabre A4 Rifle.
That said, it’s not like a Bravo will let you down. Plenty of people here have used theirs in carbine classes and other HD applications.
