Does anyone make a light bearing holster for the M&PC? I would like to find something in a thigh rig, but anything would be better than what I have now.
Why are you running a M&P Compact with light in a thigh rig anyway???
I don’t right now. I am a detective at my SO and M&Pc’s are what we are issued. By policy we can only carry issued firearms. So for tactical ops when wearing body armor our current holsters don’t work very well. So we need something.
Safariland makes one for .45 M&Pc’s. Not sure if it will fit other calibers.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Raven was working on or has some kind of MOLLE mounting attachment. If not I’m sure there some way to rig it up. I’m not sure where else to tell you to look, a drop leg, light compatible holster for a compact pistol is kind of an oddball request.
Recently picked up a Kaluban Cloak for M&Pc 9 + TLR-3 — which coincidentally works fine without the light, and also fits the Insight X2 (with with the LED conversion, I actually like better than the TLR-3). It is good to go for both IWB and OWB with the right clips (can set it up for either cant or no cant in either config).
For a more duty style holster, the Safariland ALS for the full size M&P + TLR-1 works fine – though it tends to side down in the holster too much. I remedied that by putting an 9mm casing over the post that the barrel sits on and pinching it down with a pair of pliers to secure it. It’s the perfect length/diameter. The TLR-3 does not fit well, but the Insight X2 fits great.
what are your current holsters? Can you be issued a full size as well for when you would be wearing armor? Have you looked into spacer kits for your issued holsters?
Our issued holster cannot be modded to work. No they won’t issue us both a full size and compact.
