Outstanding job! P mags make good stippling time waisters. lol ![]()
Great looking job.
Wood burning or soldering tool used? Looks great!
Took about an hour with a wood burning kit. The kit came with a ton of times, I used the small pen head one. There were funky ones but I wasn’t that adventurous with my weapon.
That’s honestly the best looking stippling I think I’ve seen on an M&P.
I like how it preserves the lines and the emblem, very well done.
Very affordably done as well.
Looks almost like a factory finish.
If you are right handed would stipple right above the trigger guard where your left thumb would rest, this would ensure a constant grip every time by feel and memory.
That looks great. I am picking up an M&P9 on the 26th. I hope my stippling job turns out as well as yours.
Very impressive.
That’s the best stipple job I’ve seen maybe on any pistol.
I was aware of this going in. As of right now, my left thumb lands on the take down lever. I have tried to get it to reach that “patch” that others have put on their M&P but just is not comfortable for me.
Thanks for the compliments everyone!! Greatly appreciated!
Just got an M&P9c… gonna stipple that sucker tonight. Will post pics when done ![]()

This took me an hour with a $11 soldering iron … before the new ‘wood burning’ trend caught on … ![]()
The frame is actually easier than the inserts as it burns ‘slower’
I like it a lot once in hand but … it does tend to catch and hangup more after reaching on my over-shirts when concealed.
Those are great outcomes. Very nice work.
You guys are tempting me to try this on some spare back straps and Pmags.![]()
Try it on some of your plastic gun cases first.
