I have owned glocks in the past and know they are good guns, they just dont fit my hand that well. I have held the M&P and it feels good in my hand, have no other experience with them.
I need some honest input about both systems. So give me the good,bad and ugly on them. No I have not been able to find a gen 4 19 in my area yet, so I can’t say how they feel in my hands

Both superb and at the top of their genre. Glocks of any Gen fit me very well but don’t feel as comfy as M&Ps. Both have design foibles in my opinion which are not insurmountable.
Flip a coin. It’s rigged, you can’t lose.
Maybe Im just used to the way Glocks feel but I shot my friends M&P9 and I wasnt a big fan of the thumb safety.
I shoot the thumbs forward and it got in the way for me. I guess now you can get them without so I may try one of those.
Accessory wise S&W is catching up slowly with the Glock, but not quite.
