Hey guys,
I know M&P had accuracy and lock up an bbl issues in the past. I have a guy selling a M&P build in 2010 For a great price. The seller either is not a gun guy or is intentionally being vague with answer to my question. I cannot inspect the gun in person so I have to rely on photos and Sellers answers . Did the 2010 models have theses issues ? Was there a specific. S/N
or run that can be identified as problem batch? Any feed back would be greatly Apricited.
.
Keep in mind that it was a minority of M&P pistols with issues. However, the accuracy problems were occurring in 2010. The only way to know for sure is to shoot it with a variety of ammo at 25 yards and see what happens. 2013 seems to be the year that most of these issues were fixed with some design tweaks.
I have a 2010 M&P9 that holds 10/10 rounds in the -O box of an IDPA target at 25 yards without a problem which is my standard for a service pistol.
If I couldn’t inspect the gun in person, I’d pass… Too many other M&P’s to be had at a good price, that you can inspect…
Thanks for the feed back guys.the guy came out and said in his view the price reflected
the issues with the pistol. I thanked him and moved on.
If it’s cheap enough, you could buy it and have a hand fit barrel from grant I stalled if it is accuracy issues.
Considering it costs about $200-250 to get that done,The seller would have to just about give it away… IMO, buying a known problematic gun isn’t worth the hassle.
Mp9 are still $399 some places Bnib fyi
