So, if a mil-spec tube is 1.146” and a commercial tube is 1.170” why does my buffer tube measure 1.153”? Is this close enough to call a mil-spec? I am looking at aftermarket stocks and need to be sure.
Yes close enough. Typically it’s a .020" difference.
