M&A Parts rifle kit?

I think I know the answer to this one, but I thought I’d ask anyway. I’m looking to build a lightweight carbine and since M&A is a sight sponsor I figured they might be an option to consider. Since they state that LMT does much of the upper receiver work, I figured they might be better than other kits. The only thing I’m not happy about is the lack of chrome lining on the barrel, but I think for its purpose (a truck gun that’s meant primarily to dispatch varmits, my charles daly M4LE is set up for self defense) it should be fine. So should I even consider a rifle kit by M&A or do I need to piece a rifle together?

U get what u pay for.

It will work if you just want a gun to shoot.

A long time ago I built a M&A kit on a Hesse lower. It went bang each time I pulled the trigger.

A few years later I traded it and an old beater Norinco 1911 for a Kimber.

.

Anybody else?

The bottom line if you want a fighting gun its not the way to go.

It all depends there are 4 different companies they go with and if it was an LMT upper the inspection tag would be yellow or a dark orange. and I can tell you they are made from the same parts as the LMT uppers that are sold as LMT uppers same quality just one has LMT laser etched into the upper and the M&A uppers don’t, if that helps you any

Call M&A and ask them any questions you might have. I have bought quite a bit of gear from them and am very happy with my purchases. I have not tried the kit you mentioned.

I recently purchased a collapsable stock form them. Identical to a RRA stock without he RRA stamp. Ask them where them parts come from before you buy. You might be surprised

Same here, if armalite wasnt so close to home I would probably have 2 or 3 more uppers from M&A

Since your a LMT employee why arent they selling to you at dealer cost? That would be less than the M&A stuff.

Als are you saying that the mentiond uppers are fully made by LMT with the exact parts and assembled by LMT?

Interesting. This is what interested me most about M&A parts kits was that if LMT did have some small hand in assembling the uppers, maybe they wouldn’t be to bad a deal. I just wished they were chrome lined though.

yes the lowers are made with the same parts, and I dont buy from LMT is because I get a better deal with M&A because I also get a discount there also because I work at LMT and also Carl Lewis the owner of LMT is a cheap skate and LMT from LMT cost more than going through M&A, so does that answer you question. Also the uppers are assembled by LMT also.

I bought a M-4 kit from M&A and I am very happy with the quality and price.
I had a occasional feed jamp but the Bolt had come with that heavy extractor spring( Black Bumper) that everybody says you need. I replaced that with a standard spring( Blue Bumper) and it’s 100% now.
